Owner of Japaneiro’s serves up new recipes for unique fusion food in the Square

Planned Community Developers, Ltd. (PCD) is excited to announce that Guru Kitchen will soon open in Sugar Land Town Square. Guru is an independent eaterie that will offer hand-made gourmet burgers, crepes and a wide selection of local, micro-brewery draft beer and wine. Like its sister restaurant Japaneiro’s, the menu will feature local, organic ingredients and recipes made from scratch using sustainable methods.

“Our restaurants are one of a kind, local and independent,” said Owner Robert White. “We look forward to this opportunity to offer our vision for great hand-crafted burgers and crepes, just steps away from Japaneiro’s in Sugar Land Town Square.”

Scheduled to open in May, Guru Kitchen will be located at 2268 Texas Drive and will occupy 2,060 square feet of space. The existing space will be completely remodeled to meet the needs of the new restaurant.

Charles Adams, vice president of retail for PCD, represented PCD in the transaction; Robert White represented Guru Burgers and Crepes.
