SUGAR LAND, TEXAS (June 17, 2010) – Planned Community Developers, Ltd. (PCD) is pleased to announce its list of new retailers that recently opened for business in Sugar Land Town Square.

“In spite of what we hear about the economy, good things are still happening,” said Charles Adams, vice president of retail for PCD. “The fact that these retailers chose Town Square to begin their ventures at this time speaks volumes about the strength of our development.”

Recently-opened retailers in Sugar Land Town Square include:

  • AT&T. Located at 2191 Texas Drive, the new store features a state-of-the-art, hands-on design to provide customers with a “try before you buy” service experience.
  • Shogi Hibachi Express. By the owners of Taisho, Shogi is a Japanese restaurant featuring a buffet of 40 different vegetables including organic ones and 20 kinds of meat. Guests create their own dish and then have it prepared by a chef. Shogi’s address is 15977 City Walk.
  • Fred Astaire Dance Studio. Fred Astaire specializes in the instruction of ballroom dance and sells ballroom dancewear, footwear and other dance-related items. Their new studio is located at 2140 Lone Star Drive.
  • An Albert Luiz Salon & Spa. An Albert Luiz Salon & Spa recently moved to a 13,000 square foot location in Town Square and expanded his salon & spa services to include a Medical Spa and make-up studio. His new location is located at 2181 Texas Drive, directly across the street from his original Town Square location.
  • Awakened Yoga. Located at 2230 Lone Star Drive, the yoga studio offers daily yoga classes in vinyasa yoga, ashtanga yoga, traditional hatha yoga, and kids yoga. A boutique is also featured with high-end yoga apparel, yoga gear, natural body products, and inspirational gifts.

In addition to these newly-opened retailers, PCD recently announced that Twenty-Two Fifty Interiors & Gifts, an interior design studio and retail boutique; Aventography, a studio equipped for photography and commercial video work; and a New Orleans-style restaurant and bar, Rouxpour, will move into the development this summer.
