Indoor cycling studio brings innovative techniques to Sugar Land

Planned Community Developers, Ltd. (PCD) announced today that Revolution Studio, an indoor cycling studio, will open its doors in Sugar Land Town Square nearing the end of summer. The fitness studio will feature indoor cycling classes with premium stationary Schwinn bikes taught by certified cycling instructors.

The Town Square location will be Revolution Studio’s first, and is the brainchild of owners Kim Bell, a certified Mad Dogg Athletics spin instructor, and Mitchell Syma, a certified American Sports and Fitness Association cycling instructor. Classes will combine the benefits of cardio and strength training to give cyclers a total body workout designed to burn 500-800 calories per 45-minute session.

Revolution Studio brings innovative concepts to indoor cycling with its online reservation system, allowing visitors to schedule classes and select bikes prior to class time, much like an airline reservation system. The studio will be dimly lit using candles to create a sanctuary where cyclers can work on the mind/body/spirit connection.

“We aim to create a fitness-oriented, healthy-living community who wants to better themselves, and in-turn, better those around them,” said Owner Kim Bell. “Sugar Land Town Square feels like a family, and that’s what we’re striving for at Revolution Studio.”

The studio is located at 2125 Lone Star Drive and occupies 2,011 square feet of space. The storefront aesthetic will be modern and chic, with simple and contemporary finishes throughout. There will be men’s and women’s locker rooms on-site, featuring restrooms, showers, lockers, and vanities.

Abner Burnitt, Jr. of Bellaire Realty represented Revolution Studio in the transaction; Charles Adams, vice president of retail for PCD, represented PCD.
