Two National Restaurant Chains Now Open In Lake Pointe Town Center

SUGAR LAND, TX (May 21, 2007) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) is pleased to announce that Buffalo Wild Wings and Panda Express opened recently in Lake Pointe Town Center, Sugar Land’s premiere mixed-use development located at the intersection of Highway 6 and U.S. 59.

“Buffalo Wild Wings and Panda Express are among the first of many great restaurants and retailers coming to the Lake Pointe development,” said Bruce Frankel, director of retail leasing for PCD.  “In addition to high-quality retail, the community also offers office and residential options, creating a community where residents can live, work, play and dine.”
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings, a casual dining and sports-themed restaurant, is located at 1401 Highway 6, Building B and occupies 6,700 square feet of retail space.  There are 13 Buffalo Wild Wings locations in the Houston area and 44 throughout Texas.

The restaurant showcases chicken wings spun in a variety of 14 signature sauces and broadcast sports coverage from more than 40 televisions, including nine large-screen, high- definition projectors.  In addition, the bar area features a folding wall system which allows the patio to become an extension of the bar.

“The already established business and residential population, combined with the prospects for continued growth in the area, provide a unique value to foster our Sugar Land restaurant,” said Cliff Sadowsky of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Rob Johnson of Rob Johnson Interests purchased the land from PCD for Buffalo Wild Wings.  Frankel represented PCD in the purchase transaction.  Sadowsky, Steve Chappelear and Larry Harris of Buffalo Wild Wings represented the restaurant in the lease transaction from Johnson.

Panda Express
Located at 1401 State Hwy. 6 at the corner of Lifetime Fitness Blvd, Panda Express, America’s largest chain of Chinese quick-service restaurants, is a free-standing, drive-through restaurant that occupies 2,448 square feet of retail space.  Panda Express currently has 13 Houston area locations and 64 throughout Texas.

“We are very excited about our Lake Pointe location,” said Jennifer Annello of Panda Express. “This is one of the developments we wanted to enter early on in our Houston expansion.”

Johnson purchased the land for Panda Express from PCD. Frankel represented PCD in the purchase transaction. Annello and Karen Monteros of Panda Express represented the restaurant in the lease transaction from Johnson.
