SUGAR LAND TOWN SQUARE WELCOMES AMICI RISTORANTE FROM VALLONE, MCMILLIAN TEAM

—Celebrated duo opens 7,500 square-foot restaurant in office building in Town Square—

SUGAR LAND, TX (Nov. XX, 2006)— Amici Ristorante, a new restaurant concept from famed restaurateur Jeff Vallone and critically acclaimed executive chef Bruce McMillian, recently opened its doors in Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS). The first joint venture by the celebrated duo, Amici combines expertise in phenomenal service and culinary genius featuring delicious Neapolitan fare.

The first Italian restaurant in Town Square, Amici is located at 16089 City Walk in Sugar Land Town Square and occupies 7,518 square feet in the ground floor of a new office building. The restaurant houses one of Sugar Land’s largest private rooms, which seats 75 and features an integrated A/V system.

“We’re very excited to introduce Amici to the Sugar Land community,” said Jeff Vallone. “The vibrant and energetic atmosphere of Town Square is the perfect set ting for our restaurant.”

Located adjacent to the plaza, Amici offers a contemporary, yet comfortable, dining experience where guests can dine while watching the bustling happenings of the square.

“We are very excited to have two of Houston’s most well-respected and admired food aficionados open their restaurant in Sugar Land Town Square,” said Bruce Frankel, director or retail leasing for Planned Community Developers.

Bruce Frankel represented the lessor, Town Center Lakeside, Ltd. in the transaction. Joan Collum of Orr Commercial, Inc. represented the lessee, Plaza Drive Restaurant Associates, Ltd. Architect and long time Sugar Land resident Larry Levinson and the Whitney Design Firm designed Amici.

“As a resident of Fort Bend County, I am proud to introduce a restaurant of this stature so close to home,” said Bruce McMillian.

Jeff Vallone’s reputation has been firmly established in the Houston restaurant scene for more than two decades, where he has overseen the evolution of the Vallone dynasty including, Tony’s, Anthony’s, La Griglia, and Grotto. Renowned chef Bruce McMillian has worked with the Vallone family for over 22 years, creating critically acclaimed cuisine for all the restaurants.
