SUGAR LAND, TX (April 27, 2006) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) is pleased to announce Steve Fuqua and Dan Roth of the award-winning Steve Fuqua Homes recently relocated their business to Sugar Land Town Square’s new Class A office building, The Plaza, located at U.S. Highway 59 and State Highway 6. They signed a lease to occupy approximately 2,500 square feet in the new property.

Serving the Sugar Land area for more than a quarter of a century, Fuqua prides himself as First Colony’s first custom homebuilder. In that time, he and Roth have constructed more than 450 custom homes for families all over Fort Bend County.

“It has been exciting to watch the city of Sugar Land grow and thrive into what it is today and I feel privileged to have contributed to its growth,” said Steve Fuqua, president of Steve Fuqua Homes. “We chose to relocate our business to The Plaza because of its prime location and amenities. Besides, what better way to stay close to the pulse of Sugar Land, than to move to the heart of the city?”

Fuqua and Roth’s new office is located less than half a mile from their original location 28 years ago. Although the locations are close in vicinity, the two spaces will differ dramatically. The new office is located in a prime corner spot on the first floor and overlooks the courtyard. In addition, they plan to showcase their impressive portfolio of homes via a plasma screen television in the conference room.

“Steve has been a leader in our community and a great friend to Planned Community Developers for nearly 30 years,” said Les Newton, president of Planned Community Developers. “We are both delighted and honored he chose to relocate his offices to Sugar Land Town Square.”

Additionally, Steve Fuqua Homes is among the list of custom builders who will provide homes to residents of Lake Pointe Town Center, a PCD development located adjacent to Sugar Land Town Square, at U.S. Highway 59 and state Highway 6. Lake Pointe Town Center is a 190-acre mixeduse development and will contain office, residential, retail and restaurant space.
