Event Celebrates Groundbreaking for Planned Community Developers’
Office Building in Sugar Land Town Square
SUGAR LAND (September 4, 2007) –Members of local media recently went head-to head in a remote-controlled bulldozer race at the groundbreaking celebration of Sugar Land Town Square’s newest Class A office building. Race participants received a donation to their charity-of-choice, courtesy of Planned Community Developers.
Among the race participants were City of Sugar Land Councilman Michael Schiff who won first place and raced on behalf of Child Advocates of Fort Bend. Second place was awarded to Sugar Land Sun Editor John Pape, who raced for the Pink Ribbons Project and the third-place winner was David Lyons, publisher of the Fort Bend Herald and Texas Coaster, who raced on behalf of Boy Scouts of America.
