Kiss, Sugar Land’s original denim headquarters, recently relocated its Sugar Land area boutique to Town
Square. Previously an innovative ladies’ boutique, Kiss Kiss has expanded its new location to include clothing
and accessories for men, as well as women.
Located at 15989 City Walk, Kiss Kiss occupies 2,163 square feet of retail space and is located beside
Johnny Rockets.
SUGAR LAND, TX (October 11, 2006) – Start your holiday shopping early and save big! Participating Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS) retailers teamed up with the American Cancer Society’s Annual Holiday Shopping Card to offer shoppers an opportunity to save 20 percent on all their purchases starting Thursday, October 26 through Sunday, November, 5.
To begin saving, shoppers must make a donation of $60 or more to the American Cancer Society. The entire amount donated goes directly to the American Cancer Society and is taxdeductible.
Sugar Land, TX (October 4, 2006) – Here’s an event that your taste buds are sure to enjoy! The best chili cooks in Fort Bend County will go head-to-head in a friendly competition to see who has the best chili in Sugar Land, with proceeds benefiting the Fort Bend County Women’s Center. Sugar Land Town Square will serve as host to its first chili cook-off on Saturday, October 14 from 5 – 8 p.m.

JoAnn’s boasts four locations in the Houston area, including a Sugar Land location that relocated to Sugar Land Town Square, and will occupy 4,129 square feet. JoAnn’s new location will be located at 16185 City Walk, in between Ann Taylor Loft and The Sharper Image.

SUGAR LAND, TX (Sept. 11, 2006) – Calling all area artists and chili cooks! Here’s your chance to win big and have fun while you are doing it! Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS) recently added two new events to their fall calendar and needs public participation to help make them a success!
Scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 30, local artists will display their two-dimensional artwork on the Plaza from 4 – 7 p.m. Visitors to the Plaza will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of artwork and ultimately three winners will be chosen. First place will receive a $250 gift certificate to the retailer of their choice in SLTS; second and third place will receive $150 and $100 gift certificates respectively.
Coffee shop to open in Fall 2006
SUGAR LAND, TX (August 30, 2006) – Planned Community Developers, Ltd. (PCD), has announced construction is underway for River’s Edge Court, the retail center to be built in front of the River’s Edge subdivision in Richmond. In addition, PCD announced that Mugz Coffee Bar will be the first tenant to move into the new center.
Scheduled for completion in fall 2006, the retail center is part of a 17.5 acre commercial tract of land located at the front of the master-planned community.
SUGAR LAND, TX (August 29, 2006) – The Superstar finale drew record-breaking attendance on Saturday, as more than 4,000 people assembled on the Plaza of Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS) to cheer on their favorite contestant. At the end of the night, judges awarded the Sugar Land Superstar title to Shannon Loucks. Finishing first runner up was Courtney Bonds; second runner up was given to Shiela Harrison.

SUGAR LAND, TX (June 21, 2006) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) announced today Learning Express, the nation’s leading specialty toy retailer, will open its newest franchise in Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS). Scheduled to open in mid-August, Learning Express will occupy 3,072 square feet of the center.

SUGAR LAND, TX (June 21, 2006) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) is pleased to announce Johnny Rockets, a 50’s-style diner, will open its third Houston-area location in Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS) this summer. Known for their big burgers and hand-dipped shakes, the restaurant will occupy 3,208 square feet of retail space within the 32-acre town center.

Richmond Resident Returns to Roots, Joins SLTS Management Team
Sugar Land, TX (May 25, 2006) —Sugar Land Town Square Management, administrators for Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS), announces the hiring of Rita Sosebee as Marketing and Event Manager. Sosebee brings a diverse background to the SLTS team with experience in marketing, event coordination and general management.
