CHRISTOPHER’S VINTAGE SHAVE HOSTS GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION IN SUGAR LAND TOWN SQUARE FEATURING JAZZ MUSICIAN JOE SAMPLE

SUGAR LAND, TX (December 19, 2007) – Christopher’s Vintage Shave, an upscale full-grooming shop for men, will host its grand opening celebration in Sugar Land Town Square on December 29 from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.  The event is open to the public and will feature live music from composer and pianist Joe Sample as well as complimentary drinks and hors d’oeuvres.

The new shop is located at 2288 Texas Drive, next door to the recently-opened Mi Luna restaurant.  Among its services, the salon will offer hot-towel shaves, haircuts, facials, manicures and pedicures, shoe shines and complimentary coffee, espresso and wine.

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS (December 18, 2007) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) today announced that Olives Martini Bar & Grille, a bar and restaurant concept featuring more than 30 varieties of martinis, micro-brewery draft beer, wine, specialty drinks and full lunch and dinner menus, is scheduled to open for business in Sugar Land Town Square in February 2008.

INNOVATIVE CHILDREN’S HAIR SALON COMING SOON TO LAKE POINTE TOWN CENTER

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS (December 13, 2007) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) today announced Snip-its, a salon providing children’s haircuts and parties, will open for business in early 2008 in Lake Pointe Town Center, the mixed-use, lifestyle development at the northwest intersection of U.S. Highway 59 and State Highway 6.

SUGAR LAND, TX (November 8, 2007) – Sugar Land Town Square will hold a can- sculpting competition on Saturday, November 17 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., where local businesses and organizations will design and build large structures made entirely from canned and other non-perishable food for display and judging in the Plaza.

VINEYARD ON THE SQUARE’S FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY, OCTOBER 13

SUGAR LAND TOWN SQUARE HOSTS SECOND-ANNUAL CHILI COOK-OFF TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITIES

SUGAR LAND, TX (September 19, 2007) – The best chili cooks in Fort Bend County are bringing a little spice to Town Square as they go head-to-head in a friendly competition to see who will earn the bragging rights for the best chili in Sugar Land.  On Saturday, October 20 from 5 – 8 p.m. local residents and businesses will serve up their special-recipe chili to Town Square visitors in a contest to win a donation to their charity of choice.
