MAYOR’S YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL RAISES MONEY TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHILD ADVOCATES PROGRAM

SUGAR LAND, TX (Dec. 20, 2006) – Members of the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council (MYAC) and Sugar Land Mayor David Wallace recently presented a $1200 check to Susie Moseley, executive director of Child Advocates of Fort Bend, to benefit their CASA program. MYAC raised the funds by selling special Sugarland band t-shirts at their November 1 performance in Sugar Land Town Square. NEW DINING OPTIONS COMING SOON TO SUGAR LAND TOWN SQUARE

– Mi Luna, Dessert Gallery and Tacone Flavor Grill bring new tastes to Sugar Land –

SUGAR LAND, TEXAS (December 4, 2006) – Planned Community Developers (PCD) announced today that Mi Luna, a Spanish tapas restaurant and bar; Dessert Gallery Bakery & Café, a gourmet dessert shop which also serves sandwiches, wraps & salads; and Tacone Flavor Grill, a restaurant serving fresh gourmet wraps and handmade, grilled sandwiches, will open in Sugar Land Town Square (SLTS) this winter.

“We are proud to welcome these restaurants to Town Square,” said Steve Ewbank, executive vice president of PCD. “Their menus will add to the already diverse variety of foods people can enjoy when working or shopping in the Plaza.”
